About Us
Grounds isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a vibe, a ritual, and a gathering space for people who love good coffee, good chocolate, and good company. Nestled in the heart of Birmingham, we’re here to shake up the local coffee scene with bold flavors, thoughtful sourcing, and a little bit of attitude.
Coffee First, Always
We keep it real with quality coffee, sourced from local roasters who know their craft. Our espresso? Pulled from Cala Coffee’s Brazil Origin—smooth, rich, and just what you need to start (or restart) your day. Whether you’re a straight-up black coffee person or a "make it iced with oat milk and a dash of vanilla" kind of human, we’ve got you.
More Than Coffee
Yes, the coffee’s great. But have you tried the bonbons? We curate an ever-changing lineup of handcrafted chocolates from makers across the country, because we believe a little sweetness makes the day better.
A Space for Everyone
Grounds is a Black-owned, queer-owned business built on community, good energy, and damn good coffee. Whether you’re here for a caffeine fix, settling in with your laptop, or just hanging out, you’re always welcome here.
